Cait Gordon—Author, Editor, Blogger, and Doodler
Cait (pronounced like ‘cat’) Gordon is originally from Verdun, Québec, and has been living in the suburbs of Ottawa since 1998. She worked for over two decades as a technical writer, then channelled her love for words into creative writing. She is the author of Life in the ’Cosm (Renaissance) and The Stealth Lovers (Renaissance, 2019).
Her short stories can be found in anthologies. A Night at the Rabbit Hole appears in the Alice Unbound: Beyond Wonderland anthology (Colleen Anderson, Exile Editions). The Hilltop Gathering is included in We Shall Be Monsters (Derek Newman-Stille, Renaissance).
For her day job, Cait is a freelance editor. Some of the books she’s worked on include Confessions of a Mad Mooer: Postnatal Depression Sucks (Robin Elizabeth), Camp Follower: One Army Brat’s Story (Michele Sabad), Skylark (S.M. Carrière), and Moonshadow’s Guardian (Dianna Gunn).
Teaming up with sensitivity editor Talia C. Johnson, Cait is co-editing the Nothing Without Us anthology, a collection of short stories that feature protagonists who identify as disabled, Deaf, blind, neurodiverse, Spoonie, and/or who manage mental illness.
A bit of a social media junkie, Cait can be found on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. She also has an author website and is the creator/editor of the Spoonie Authors Network. If you need editing services, visit her biz, Dynamic Canvas Inc.
