Names appear in the order of when the authors first published on the SpAN.
Cait Gordon (our humble SpAN editor) published her first novel of a four-book series in September 2016, called Life in the ’Cosm. Two months later, she created The Spoonie Authors Network as a way to gather up all the awesome spoonie writers so we could share our real-life stories. You can read more about Cait’s upcoming books, Tales from the Crip, and flash fiction on her website.

Susan Franzblau is an author and a hypnotherapist who writes fantasy, science fiction, and romance. You can browse her books on her Amazon author page!
Madona Skaff-Koren wrote an incredible mystery (in this editor’s humble opinion) about a marathon runner disabled by MS, who turns sleuth in order to find her missing friend. I gobbled it up in a weekend. Journey of a Thousand Steps is available on Amazon and through Renaissance!
Derek Newman-Stille’s Speculating Canada is not only a website but also a radio show that promotes Canadian genre fiction in the sci-fi, fantasy, and horror genres. Derek created the website and radio show to draw our attention to speculative fiction, so we might recognise its validity, bringing it out of the margins.

Jen Desmarais won a short story contest and you can read the work here, but this humble editor’s favourite thing she’s done is to create the Blush game, which teaches families how to discuss sex in a fun way! (Spoiler: you as an adult will not know all the answers.)
Stephen Graham King’s first book, Just Breathe, tells the blunt, funny, and uncompromising story of his three-year battle with metastatic synovial sarcoma. Since then, his short fiction has appeared in the anthologies North of Infinity II (Pas de Deux), Desolate Places (Nor Winter’s Cold) and Ruins Metropolis (Burning Stone).
